The virtual interview training of the National Contact Point ERC addresses applicants for ERC Starting Grants 2025 who have been retained for step 2 of the evaluation and are invited to a virtual interview by the ERC Executive Agency. Our online trainings are aimed at applicants with German host institutions, will be held in English, and are free of charge.
The aim of Part II is to practice in depth the interview situation and to get individual feedback from a professional rhetoric coach. Therefore, it will be mandatory for participants to perform their presentation including the Q&A session and to simulate a mock panel. The number of participants of this part is limited to six candidates per session, who prior participated in one Part I interview training.
Part II of the virtual interview training will take about 4 hours.
